HD 50554 b is a Jupiter-sized extrasolar planet with minimum mass 4.4 times that of Jupiter. The planet was discovered in 2002 by Debra Fischer and three team members, who used doppler spectroscopy to measure the wobbling of the star caused by gravitational interaction with the planet.
